Picture of Cruiser LightsThe Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board hears appeals from the decisions of the Director of Victim Services concerning compensation for certain expenses incurred by victims of crime.

The Board's jurisdiction to hear such appeals is derived from the Victims' Rights and Services Act, which can be accessed through the "Statutes" button located on the left hand side of the screen.
